This example is the Ardiuno style controller and MakerPlot-J being used for PID control of a heater. The parts used are from the Elegoo Super Starter Kit.

+ A 100 ohm, 1/4 watt resistor heater controlled with a transistor driver by PWM.
+ The breadboard power supply was used, but the 12V from a power supply was tapped for the resistor’s power.
+ A Thermistor on an analog input
+ A fan was tested driven by a transistor, but it caused too much noise, it could be done better with the H-Bridge in the kit.

This plot shows the result to cooling disturbances and double-clicking the plot annotated the settings of the Bias drive and PID drives.
